Who we are

This website and sign-up form are operated by Alym Amlani, and LogicDefied, based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. You can reach us at privacy@alym.com.

What we collect and why

When you submit the early-access form, we collect your name, email address, role, institution, and selected areas of interest. We also record that you gave consent and the date and time you did so.

We use this information solely to notify you when new parts of Vibe Coding for Educators go live and to send related course updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Consent

We rely on your express, opt-in consent — given by checking the consent box before submitting the form — as the basis for collecting and using your personal information. This is consistent with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@alym.com or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Once you withdraw consent, we will stop sending you communications and delete your data within 30 days.

Service providers

We use the following third-party service providers to operate this site. Each processes your data only as needed to provide their service to us:

We do not transfer your personal information outside of Canada except as necessary to use these services. Vercel and Resend may process data in the United States; both maintain privacy and security practices consistent with industry standards.

Where your data is stored

Your form data is stored in Canada using Supabase, hosted on AWS ca-central-1 (Montreal).

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you have not engaged with any communication from us in 24 months, we will delete your data automatically. You may also request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to:

• ✓ Access the personal information we hold about you.
• ✓ Correct any inaccurate information.
• ✓ Withdraw consent and have your data deleted.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@alym.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also unsubscribe from any email using the link included in every message.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use cookies or behavioral tracking tools.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the form after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
