Welcome and how this course works
Welcome to Vibe Coding for Educators. This isn't a traditional coding course. You won't be memorizing syntax or writing algorithms from scratch.
Instead, you're going to learn how to collaborate with AI to build interactive, engaging tools for your students. We call this "vibe coding" — guiding the AI with clear intentions, reviewing its work, and refining the results.
What you will achieve in Part 1
By the end of this guide, you will have a working web app on the internet with a real URL you can share with students, colleagues, or anyone. You will describe it in plain English, an AI will build it, and you will publish it using free tools.
You will also leave with something less visible and more durable: a much better sense of how to ask. AI does not build what you meant, it builds what you said — so most of what separates a usable app from a disappointing one happens before any code is written. The habits you practise here work the same way in Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, or whatever you end up using next year.
