Readiness check
Two things, and you almost certainly have both. Check them off and you are building in the next lesson.
What you do not need
No credit card, no billing setup, no API key, and nothing to install. Everything in Part 1 runs in your browser on free tiers.
You do not need any other accounts yet either. Publishing your app properly later in this part uses two more free services, and the lesson that needs them will walk you through signing up at the point you use them.
The one exception to all of this is an app that asks an AI to do something while your students are using it — that needs a paid key of your own once it is live, and the course flags it clearly before you get there. Most first builds do not need one.
